Job Title: Associate Designer, Women’s
About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and creatively driven Associate Designer with a strong focus on women’s apparel to join our design team. This role supports the full lifecycle of product creation — from early concept development through final execution — and plays a key role in translating seasonal ideas into well-crafted, technically sound products.
This position is ideal for someone with a passion for technical and performance-driven women’s apparel who can move fluidly between creative exploration and structured execution. You’ll work closely with Design leadership and cross-functional partners to ensure the women’s line is both visually compelling and product-accurate.
Key Responsibilities
Women’s Design & Creative Support
- Assist in the development of seasonal concepts for the women’s line through trend research, market analysis, and visual inspiration
- Create and contribute to mood boards, inspiration boards, and concept presentations
- Bring forward fresh, brand-right ideas rooted in performance, lifestyle, art, and culture
- Support the evolution of women’s silhouettes, proportions, and functional details
Technical Design Execution
- Create and update detailed flat sketches in Adobe Illustrator with precision and consistency
- Prepare CAD color-ups and design variations throughout the development process
- Support tech pack development and maintain accurate, up-to-date design files
- Partner with Technical Design to ensure development packages are clear and build-ready
- Assist in reviewing prototypes and samples for style, proportion, and design intent
Seasonal Line Development
- Help maintain seasonal line plans and visual merchandising boards
- Support seasonal color development by creating palette boards, ordering Pantones, and preparing color communication tools
- Assist with fabric and trim organization, swatch cards, and material references
- Contribute to internal design reviews and presentation preparation
Organization & Workflow
- Maintain organized digital and physical design archives (sketches, fabrics, trims, samples)
- Track and update Bills of Materials (BOMs) as design changes occur
- Attend weekly WIP meetings and document design revisions and updates
- Ensure smooth handoff of design information to cross-functional teams through clear file management and documentation
What We’re Looking For
- 1–3 years of experience in apparel design (internships included), with a strong interest or background in women’s apparel
- Working knowledge of cut & sewn garment construction
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator; working knowledge of Photoshop and InDesign
- Comfortable working in Excel and managing detailed design information
- Experience creating flat sketches, CAD color-ups, and assisting with tech packs
- Strong eye for proportion, silhouette, color, and functional design, especially in women’s product
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities
- A proactive self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
Nice to Have
- Experience in performance, technical, or lifestyle apparel
- Familiarity with fabric performance attributes and trim development
- Exposure to working with overseas factories or development partners

Base Salary Range - $75-$85k
