Associate Brand Marketing Manager, Dunkin'

Marketing owner of savory business programs, responsible for supporting the development of brand strategies to deliver key business objectives. Collaborate with cross functional teams to shape, create and lead concepts from ideation through launch and in market execution, and to develop a robust innovation pipeline across key categories. Work with brand stewardship, digital, media and PR teams to bring products to life. Leverage information from the business analytics team to measure and analyze the impact of program performance versus goals.

This position will be onsite in our Boston Support Center 3 days a week.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute against and support the development of brand strategies based on macro trends, consumer insights and competitive activities to deliver key business objectives.

  • Identify white space and growth opportunities within specific category product lines.

  • Lead cross-functional teams from concept ideation through program launch and in-market execution.

  • Collaborate with culinary and consumer insights teams to build a robust innovation pipeline.

  • Partner with R&D, operations, supply chain, demand planning, QA, commercialization, and legal to ensure products are ready for launch.

  • Work with brand stewardship, digital, media, and PR teams to bring products to life for each seasonal window.

  • Team up with business analytics team to measure and analyze the impact of program performance versus goals to inform future new product launches and allow for continuous learning and improvement.

  • Manage category program budgets.

Project Responsibilities

Project Team Member

  • Participate in the initiation and planning phases by gathering project data and requirements and providing input on project activities and timing.

  • Utilize project management tools and disciplines to complete project assignments and meet deadlines.

  • Help identify and resolve project–related risks and issues.

  • Participate in the evaluation of the project by giving input for post-project evaluations and lessons learned.

Project Manager

  • Primary responsibility for the planning, execution and evaluation of the project.

  • Select, direct and provide coaching and feedback to the project team.

  • Monitor and report project status to the team, sponsors and leadership.

  • Utilize project management tools and disciplines to execute project processes, including: risk management, issues resolution, change management, quality assurance, and document management.

  • Ensure project deliverables are completed, with quality, in a timely manner.

  • Lead project evaluation and close.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Partners with:

  • Consumer Insights Team to align and confirm relevant consumer insights into program execution

  • Culinary, Commercialization and Supply Chain to develop & deliver products

  • Brand Stewardship to create media, and in-store merchandising that effectively expresses the products

  • Promotions and PR to develop support for their specific programs

  • Field Marketing to gain franchisee alignment and market execution of the programs

  • IT to ensure flawless delivery of programs to the franchisee community

  • Finance and Planning to develop sales, profitability, and inventory forecasts

  • Internal Communications to assure appropriate and effective franchisee communication

Physical Demands/Working Conditions:

  • Position is flexible with a balance of remote and climate-controlled internal office environment working under normal office conditions. Approximately 5% travel will be required in support of the position’s responsibilities.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; stand; walk; use hands and finger to feel and handle; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently is required to stoop, kneel, and crouch; lift weight or exert a force up to a maximum of 25 pounds

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4 year degree (or equivalent work experience)

  • 5+ years of consumer-facing brand marketing experience, ideally in consumer packaged goods or food industry

  • Project management experience

  • Strong communications and interpersonal skills

  • Financial acumen and able to conduct data analysis for insights
