Associate Attorney

We are looking for an Associate Attorney to join a growing San Antonio office.

The Role

This position focuses on insurance defense matters, including auto and construction defect cases. Attorneys will be responsible for managing an active caseload, handling day-to-day litigation responsibilities, and working closely with firm leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of approximately 30–40 cases (up to 50 at times)
• Handle all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, and motion practice
• Communicate directly with clients, carriers, and opposing counsel
• Work closely with partners on case strategy and execution

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of litigation experience
• Background in insurance defense strongly preferred (auto and/or construction defect)
• Open to candidates from the plaintiff side with relevant, transferable experience
• Strong writing, organizational, and case management skills
• Licensed and in good standing in Texas

Compensation & Structure

• Salary: $115,000 - $150,000 (DOE)
• Quarterly bonus potential tied to billable performance
• Billable requirement: 180 hours/month
