Our client, a well-established plaintiff-side litigation firm in Newport Beach, is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with 2–3 years of experience to join its Personal Injury and General Liability practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to gain hands-on litigation experience representing injured plaintiffs while working closely with experienced partners in a collaborative and client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage a caseload of plaintiff-side personal injury and general liability matters from inception through resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Conduct written discovery and handle depositions, including taking and defending
• Attend court appearances and assist with trial preparation
• Evaluate liability and damages and develop effective case strategies on behalf of injured plaintiffs
• Communicate regularly with clients and provide practical, thoughtful legal analysis
Required Qualifications
• 2–3 years of civil litigation experience
• Active and in good standing with the California State Bar
• Experience in personal injury and or general liability preferred
• Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
