Associate Attorney

Our client, a full-service law firm, is seeking an experienced Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Insurance Coverage and Defense group in Texas. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney looking to work remotely while collaborating with a respected and growing team.

This position is fully remote; however, candidates are required to attend court appearances in the Houston area as necessary. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance defense and coverage matters and be comfortable managing cases independently while working closely with experienced partners.

Responsibilities

• Manage cases from filing through trial.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategies.
• Attend court appearances, hearings, and depositions as required.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of defense litigation experience.
• Experience in handling complex litigation matters in state and federal courts.
• Strong legal research, drafting, and document review skills.
• Proficiency in providing legal advice and client support.
• Must have a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Must be licensed to practice in Texas.
• Solution-oriented with the ability to work well independently.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and self-starter.
