We are seeking a skilled and motivated Workers’ Compensation Attorney to join our client's growing team in Coral Gables, Florida. This role focuses on representing plaintiffs in workers’ compensation claims, advocating for injured workers and helping them secure the benefits they deserve.
This position is onsite, offering a collaborative team environment and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in clients’ lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent plaintiffs in all aspects of workers’ compensation cases
- Manage a caseload from intake through resolution
- Conduct depositions, mediations, and hearings
- Develop legal strategies and provide sound counsel to clients
- Communicate effectively with clients, medical providers, and opposing counsel
- Draft and review legal documents, pleadings, and settlement agreements
- Ensure compliance with Florida workers’ compensation laws and regulations
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active membership in the Florida Bar (in good standing)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in workers’ compensation law (plaintiff-side preferred)
- Strong litigation, negotiation, and case management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Spanish fluency (preferred) – ability to effectively communicate with Spanish-speaking clients
- Experience handling a high-volume caseload
- Strong client advocacy and interpersonal skills
