Associate Attorney

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Associate Attorney role based in Miami, FL. 20-40% remote work is possible. Work will be primarily focused on removal matters before EOIR (Immigration Court), handling bond motions, petitions for habeas corpus, asylum applications, relief from removal, appeals before the BIA, APA actions, mandamus cmails, etc.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Law, with the ability to apply legal principles to a variety of client matters
• Ability to provide clear, practical Legal Advice to clients under supervision, with strong judgment and client service orientation.
• Proficient Research skills, including case law analysis, statutory interpretation, and preparation of legal memoranda.
• Hard-working, professional, responsible, outgoing, reliable and must like to be in Court
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and admission in good standing to any state Bar
• 1-2 years experience preferred either in Immigration Court as an OPLA attorney or as a PD or ASA
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, and strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment, manage multiple matters simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
