Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Attorney located in Cedar Park, TX. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing legal advice, conducting in-depth research, preparing and filing legal documents, representing clients in legal proceedings, and negotiating on behalf of clients. The role requires a strong understanding of immigration law, as well as the ability to manage multiple cases and work collaboratively within the team.
Position Overview:
We are looking for an attorney passionate about immigration law and client advocacy. This role involves working on a wide range of immigration matters with a strong focus on removal defense and humanitarian-based cases.
Requirements:
* Licensed to practice law in any U.S. state
* In good standing with the state bar
* Strong legal writing and communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines
Preferred Experience:
* Removal defense
* VAWA petitions
* U visa cases
* Family-based immigration
* Naturalization
* Habeas corpus (a plus)
Compensation:
Salary will be discussed during the interview process.
