About The Role

What You’ll Do

  • Draft, review, and revise legal documents across business, estate planning, and transactional matters
  • Support matters involving contracts, business formation, operating agreements, governance documents, and related strategy
  • Assist with wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and estate planning documents
  • Contribute to business purchase, sale, and real estate-related matters
  • Communicate directly with clients in a clear, practical, professional way
  • Participate in legal research, issue spotting, and strategy development
  • Help move matters forward efficiently while maintaining strong attention to detail

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Active Ohio law license, or clear path to Ohio licensure
  • 1-3 years of relevant legal experience
  • Strong writing, drafting, and analytical skills
  • Excellent judgment and attention to detail
  • Strong client communication skills
  • Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple matters
  • Comfortable using technology and learning modern legal workflows

Preferred Experience

  • Business law, estate planning, real estate, contracts, or transactional work
  • Direct client communication
  • Drafting agreements and legal documents with limited supervision
  • Interest in long-term growth inside a boutique law firm

Compensation

$80,000-$110,000+ annually, depending on experience and fit.

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Flat-fee practice model focused on outcomes, not billable-hour pressure
  • Direct client access and substantive work early
  • Tech-enabled systems and modern workflows
  • Strong mentorship and practical legal training
  • Real responsibility inside a growing boutique firm

How To Apply

Submit your resume, brief cover letter, and a required self-recorded Loom video covering:
