Title: Associate Attorney

Salary: $90,000 - 115,000 Base, Annually depending on experience

Responsibilities

  • Manage and strategize on cases from beginning to end (pre-litigation through trial)
  • Attend court hearings & conduct and defend depositions and discovery
  • Be proactive with client communication, particularly regarding their injuries/medical treatment, and updating information in case management software
  • Communicate with medical providers to stay current on client injuries/treatment in addition to defense firms and insurance companies
  • Evaluate potential PI claims and provide legal advice to prospective clients
  • Attending mediations, arbitrations, trials, hearings, depositions
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to a support staff team


Requirements

  • A JD degree from an accredited law school and barred in Massachusetts
  • 1+ year of legal experience
  • You went to law school to be in the court room - you like to win!
  • Superior negotiation and communication skills
  • A natural ability to keep things moving in a case and updating clients
  • Client-facing experience with a high degree of emotional intelligence


Bonus

  • Personal injury experience
  • A native or fluent Spanish speaker
