About the Role

Newfound Research is a co-sponsor and sub-advisor for the Return Stacked® ETF suite—a lineup of capital-efficient investment solutions built on a simple premise: investors shouldn't have to choose between diversification and growth. Return Stacked® ETFs allow advisors to "stack" exposures—maintaining equity and bond market participation while layering in diversifying alternatives.


In three years, the Return Stacked® suite has grown from $0 to $1bn+ AUM across 7 ETFs. We did it by obsessing over education, partnering deeply with advisors, and letting the research lead. Our content and approach have attracted a passionate following of advisors who want more than a ticker—they want understanding.

The Role

We're hiring an Associate of Advisor Solutions to support our external sales team and help drive the next phase of growth.


This is an internal sales role, but not a script-reading call center job. You'll be prospecting and engaging advisors who are often deeply knowledgeable about portfolio construction—and skeptical of the next shiny product. Success requires intellectual curiosity, a genuine interest in how portfolios actually work, and the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.


What you'll do:

  • Prospect new advisor leads through targeted call and email campaigns
  • Support external wholesalers with follow-up, scheduling, and relationship continuity
  • Clean and enrich lead lists, identifying high-opportunity prospects and routing them appropriately
  • Maintain CRM hygiene and pipeline accuracy in HubSpot
  • Develop fluency in return stacking concepts, portable alpha, and our ETF lineup


The growth path:

This isn't a dead-end internal seat. The expected trajectory is 12-18 months internal, 12-18 months hybrid, then external wholesaler. We're building a team, and we want people who want to build with us.


You

  • 2+ years in internal sales or distribution support within asset management (strong 1-year candidates with the right profile will be considered)
  • Experience with ETFs, mutual funds, or alternative investment products
  • Familiarity with the independent RIA channel
  • Proficiency with CRMs (HubSpot experience is a plus)
  • Intellectually curious, comfortable with complexity, high agency
  • CAIA designation is a plus (we'll support you in getting it)
