Role Overview

The Associate Director is responsible for leading the day-to-day management of creator programs and ensuring campaigns deliver against both client objectives and operational standards.

This role goes beyond execution into broader account ownership — managing client communication, guiding strategic execution, overseeing workflows across accounts, and helping lead junior team members through complex creator programs.

You’ll act as a trusted operational lead across accounts, balancing executional oversight with strategic thinking, client partnership, and program optimization.


What You’ll Do

Lead creator programs and account execution

  • Oversee day-to-day management of creator campaigns and always-on programs across accounts
  • Ensure campaigns align with client goals, strategic direction, and performance expectations
  • Guide executional workflows from briefing through reporting and optimization
  • Lead problem-solving across campaign, creator, and operational challenges

Manage client relationships

  • Serve as a primary day-to-day client contact across accounts
  • Lead status meetings, reporting discussions, and ongoing communication
  • Build trusted relationships through proactive communication and strategic guidance
  • Ensure client needs, feedback, and priorities are managed effectively

Oversee workflows and operational quality

  • Manage timelines, staffing coordination, deliverables, and executional standards across programs
  • Partner cross-functionally with strategy, production, operations, and paid teams
  • Improve workflows and operational systems that support scalable creator programming
  • Ensure consistency, quality control, and account health across workstreams

Lead and mentor junior team members

  • Provide guidance, feedback, and support to junior team members
  • Help elevate execution quality and operational rigor across the team
  • Support onboarding and development of emerging talent

Support account growth and strategic thinking

  • Contribute strategic recommendations informed by creator, platform, and performance insights
  • Identify opportunities for account growth, optimization, and added value
  • Support long-term program planning and account development


What You Bring

  • 6–8+ years of experience in influencer marketing, creator partnerships, social media, or integrated marketing
  • Strong experience managing creator programs and client relationships
  • Ability to independently lead multiple accounts and workstreams simultaneously
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong understanding of creator ecosystems, platform strategy, and campaign performance
  • Experience mentoring junior team members and managing cross-functional collaboration
  • Operationally strong with strategic instincts and strong client presence
