Job Description

The Associate Sales Key Account Manager LATAM (Colombia) is responsible for the end-to-end management of
the strategic accounts Falabella, Pepe Ganga, and Mercado Libre, ensuring the achievement of Gross Billings,
POS, profitability, market share (SOM), service level (OSA), margin, and commercial agreements. This role leads
commercial planning, sales strategy execution, and the strengthening of long-term relationships with key clients,
representing Mattel's entire portfolio, with a primary focus on Barbie, Hot Wheels, and Fisher-Price. The position
reports directly to the Sr. Manager of Sales Colombia and holds direct accountability for monthly, quarterly, and
annual sales quotas, as well as the P&L of assigned accounts.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage and grow key accounts (Falabella, Pepe Ganga, and Mercado Libre) ensuring sales, profitability, and market share objectives are met.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and sales terms aligned with regional guidelines, securing sustainable margins and business growth.
  • Lead commercial and promotional planning, collaborating closely with Trade Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (Gross Billings, POS, OSA, SOS, SOM, margin) using datadriven storytelling.
  • Drive e-commerce strategy, developing initiatives to strengthen Mattel’s omnichannel presence, with a strong focus on Mercado Libre and other marketplaces.
  • Execute category management initiatives to maximize shelf space, planograms, and visibility in both physical and digital retail environments.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate ethics, compliance, and governance policies, including negotiation practices and client relationship management.
  • Identify new business opportunities, lead launches of priority franchises, and coordinate promotional activities to drive category growth.
Qualifications

Who We’re Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Economics,
Marketing, or related fields.
• Non-Graduate Preferred: Specialization or certification in Business Strategy and Marketing.
• Non-Graduate MBA is a plus.
• More than 4 years Minimum of 4 years of experience in Sales, Key Account Management, or Trade Marketing
within consumer goods industries (ideally toys, entertainment, retail, or related categories).
• Proven experience in negotiating with retail chains and e-commerce marketplaces.
• Strong background in P&L management, commercial agreements, and profitability optimization.
• Languages: Spanish and advanced English (oral and written).
• Tools: Proficiency in Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, and Access.
