This Opportunity

The Northern California SGT Manager is a senior growth leader and key partner to the West T&I Strategic SGT Director. This role is responsible for advancing growth priorities across Northern California while also providing leadership support to priority West Region initiatives. 


The position balances hands on pursuit and account leadership with initiative implementation, team management, and continuous improvement. The Northern California SGT Manager serves as a connector between strategy and execution—ensuring consistency, rigor, and alignment across account planning, pursuit strategy, and client positioning.
 

Your Impact

Strategic Partnership & Initiative Implementation

  • Partner with the West T&I SGT Director on select regional initiatives.
  • Drive alignment between marketing, business development, and growth strategy.
  • Support the rollout and adoption of SGT processes, best practices, tools, and new WSP offerings across Northern California markets.
  • Translate strategic direction into practical guidance and execution support for account teams and pursuit leaders.
  • Serve as an SGT partner for priority California accounts, supporting account planning, pursuit strategy, and client positioning where additional experience or leadership is needed.
     

Pursuit & Marketing Leadership
 

  • Provide direct strategic growth support to Local Business Leaders (LBLs) in Northern California as those roles are established and filled, partnering to align market priorities, account strategies, and pursuit execution.
  • Act as a senior SGT connector between regional business leadership, account teams, and emerging business growth roles to ensure clarity of roles, alignment of responsibilities, and effective collaboration.
  • Lead and support complex, high-value pursuits, including strategy development, messaging, compliance, and quality oversight.
  • Collaborate with technical and account teams to develop clear, client-focused positioning that aligns with regional priorities and WSP capabilities.
  • Reinforce consistent pursuit standards, lessons learned, and best practices across the West T&I SGT.
  • Contribute to cross regional or national SGT initiatives, as needed.
     

Key Responsibilities
 

  • Lead regional marketing and growth strategy for Northern California, aligning priorities with West Region and sector growth goals.
  • Partner with Northern California business leaders and account teams to identify priority pursuits, shape win strategies, and position WSP’s offerings effectively.
  • Manage the Northern California marketing team, including resourcing, coaching, mentoring, and quality assurance across deliverables.
  • Oversee development of high impact marketing and pursuit materials tailored to Northern
  • California clients and transferable across the West Region.
  • Track marketing performance and pipeline support; provide regular reporting and recommendations to SGT and market leadership.

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent
  • 10+ years of related experience

Compensation:
Expected Salary (all locations): $106,300 - $189,310
WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
