This position provides administrative support to the Dean, Transportation Technology & Director, Hendrick Center for Auto Excellence.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential job functions satisfactorily. *Prepares adjunct faculty contracts and monthly payroll information; coordinates with HR payroll and accounting office for payroll issues
*Acts as liaison between Dean, faculty, and other areas of the college
*Responsible for obtaining adjunct faculty personnel information, routing for approval and signatures, and maintaining adjunct instructor files
*Routinely processes forms (travel, expenditure authorizations, etc.), and maintains an inventory of selected institutional forms
Maintains Transportation Division records and reporting
Responds to email and answers the phone, dispenses appropriate information, refers and screens calls when appropriate
Takes initiatives to solve problems, division issues, and campus issues to assist the Dean
Manages acquisitions, interprets financial reports, and applies data to maintain budget balancesKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Intermediate skills in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent organizational skills

Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy in a fast-paced office environment
Ability to maintain records accurately and be able to meet deadlines consistently
Minimum Requirements:
Associate degree
Five years of experience providing administrative support in an office environment
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office including MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
Preferences:
Bachelor's degree
Experience in a Community College supporting college administration
Experience with Ellucian Colleague system
