Scribes & Scribblers Child Development Center, Inc is a family-owned Child Care Center that has been a part of the community of Middleburg Heights since 1981. We pride ourselves on providing a nurturing, family-like environment where children can learn and grow through play while following a research-based developmentally- approved curriculum. Our spacious building and grounds allow for plenty of room for gross motor activities, both indoors and out, with 2 pools, a putt-putt course, 2 climbers and separate playgrounds for our big and little kids.

Role Description

Opportunities for multiple Assistant Teachers, in programs Infant through Pre-Kindergarten at Scribes & Scribblers Child Development Center, Inc., located in Middleburg Heights, OH. Assistant Teachers will support the lead teachers in planning and implementing educational activities and assessments, assist with classroom management, and provide a nurturing and safe learning environment for children. The role involves supervising children during activities, promoting positive social interactions, and helping to maintain the classroom's cleanliness and organization. Collaboration with colleagues and effective communication with families is also required. Paid training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Must complete FBI and BCI Background Check and Medical Statement
• Strong Communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Basic understanding of Early Childhood Education principles and ability to support learning activities.
• Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working in a child development setting.
• Previous experience in early childhood education or a similar role is advantageous.
• High school diploma or equivalent; coursework in or CDA completion is a plus.
• Required Training upon hire; will be paid.
