Job Description

Join a top general contractor as an Assistant Superintendent for an exciting 8-story hotel project in Raleigh, NC. This role requires excellent communication skills and a minimum of 2 years of experience as an assistant superintendent with a general contractor. You will play a key role in overseeing the project from start to finish, ensuring smooth operations and effective management of subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing and managing the construction project from ground up.
• Coordinate and manage all trade partners and subcontractors effectively.
• Provide leadership and guidance to other staff members on the project.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and maintain safety on site.
• Read and interpret technical specifications and architectural drawings.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 2 years experience as assistant superintendent with a general contractor.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, BlueBeam, and scheduling software such as MS Project, Primavera, or Phoenix.
• Ability to read and understand technical specifications and architectural drawings.
• OSHA training certification.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Federal experience is a nice to have but not required.
• Experience in projects valued at $1M or more.
• Experience with Building Information Modeling.

Work Environment

This role is on-site with working hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Conditions may vary depending on project demands. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Raleigh, NC.

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $90000.00/hr.
