Your Purpose as a Assistant Service Advisor:

The Assistant Service Advisor supports the Service Advisors and service drive by helping manage guest flow, communication, and administrative tasks while delivering an exceptional guest experience. This is a training-focused role designed to develop into a Service Advisor position.


In Your Role:

  • Greet guests promptly and professionally upon arrival to the service drive and assist with check-in and check-out
  • Answer incoming service calls, schedule appointments, and support ongoing guest communication
  • Prepare and assemble repair quotes for review by Service Advisors
  • Maintain a positive, welcoming environment in the service drive and waiting areas
  • Support workflow efficiency during peak service hours

Operational Support:

  • Move customer and dealership vehicles as needed, including valet services at remote locations
  • Assist in maintaining organization and cleanliness of the service drive
  • Support advisors and management with daily operational tasks and other duties as assigned

Training & Development:

  • Learn dealership systems, processes, and vehicle repair workflow
  • Build foundational knowledge of automotive service terminology and operations
  • Continuously develop communication, organization, and guest-handling skills
  • Demonstrate readiness for increased responsibility and progression into a Service Advisor role

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle

Additional Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in automotive service, retail, or a customer-facing technical role preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical information in customer-friendly terms
  • Proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accurate documentation and follow-through
