Responsibilities

  • Place and finalize purchase orders, including offers based on demand and stock position. Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms and ensure compliance.
  • Examine, test, and manage contracts; perform risk management for supply agreements. Collaborate with key stakeholders to clarify specifications and expectations.
  • Track and report procurement metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
  • Control spending and foster a culture of long-term savings.
  • Manage inventory and forecast demand for assigned product categories.
  • Analyze forecasting errors and implement corrective strategies
  • Develop cost comparisons and reports to analyze expenditures and inventory.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles.
  • Strong understanding of purchasing processes and vendor management.
  • Proficiency in using procurement software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with SAP or ERP software.
