🚧 Assistant Project Manager

Civil Excavation & Utilities | MetroWest Boston
We are a growing excavation and sitework contractor building disciplined systems to scale.
We work for top 400 ENR contractors in the Boston Metro Area. Recent contracts include the South Station Tower project, Terminal E at Logan Airport, Boston College Archives, Newton East and Voute Hall, BU Warren Towers, among many others.
We are looking for a detail-obsessed, growth-driven professional to strengthen our project controls systems and to assist our project management and estimator teams.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Pricing and reconciling daily T&M extra work orders
• Centralized change order tracking across all projects
• Contaminated soil quantity reconciliation and billing capture
• Monitoring disposal facility rates and surcharges against subcontract agreements with the Construction Manager
• Monitoring union wage schedule updates and coordinating with CBIZ
• Working across Foremen, Superintendents, PMs, Accounting, Suppliers, and Construction Managers
You will build systems that protect profitability.
Secondary Responsibilities:
· Take-offs for estimators.
· RFI’s and Submittals.

Qualifications:
· 0-5 years of experience in construction, excavation, or utilities.
· -Strong Excel skills are required.
· -Experience with Timberline/Sage 300 CRE, Procore, on-screen take-off, agtek, Clearstory preferred.
· -Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Compensation:
· -Position is classified as full-time, salaried, and exempt under applicable wage and hour laws.
· -$65,000 - $95,000 annual salary (commensurate with experience).
· -Discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance metrics .
