We focus on acquiring and revitalizing distressed properties, as well as executing bespoke transactions such as subdivisions, lot line adjustments, special variances, and zoning adjustments. We are seeking a highly motivated Construction Management Specialist to oversee and support the planning, execution, and coordination of our residential and commercial development projects.


Job Summary:


The Construction Management Specialist will play a key role in overseeing construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This position requires strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders, including contractors, architects, and city officials. The ideal candidate will have experience managing residential and commercial construction projects, with a focus on quality control, safety compliance, and cost management.


Key Responsibilities:


Project Coordination & Execution:

·     Assist in planning, scheduling, and executing residential and commercial construction projects.

·     Oversee daily construction activities and ensure project milestones are met.

·     Ensure compliance with zoning laws, building codes, and permitting requirements.


Contractor & Vendor Management:

·     Work closely with subcontractors and vendors to ensure quality and timeline adherence.

·     Assist in selecting and negotiating contracts with service providers.

·     Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and address issues.


Budget & Cost Control:

·     Track and manage project costs to stay within budget.

·     Review invoices, change orders, and financial reports.

·     Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.


Quality Control & Safety Compliance:

·     Ensure construction work meets company and industry standards.

·     Enforce safety protocols and compliance with OSHA regulations.

·     Address and resolve any construction risks or safety concerns.


Stakeholder Communication:

·     Provide regular updates on project progress and challenges.

·     Collaborate with architects, engineers, and city officials for project approvals.

·     Maintain clear documentation and reporting for all construction activities.


Qualifications & Requirements:

·     Experience: 3-5 years of experience in construction management, project coordination, or a related field.

·     Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred).

·     Technical Skills: Knowledge of construction methods, zoning regulations, and building codes.

·     Project Management: Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously

·     Communication & Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage stakeholders and maintain clear project documentation.
