A national Multifamily GC is looking for a driven Assistant Project Manager with estimating or preconstruction experience to join their team building a 270‑unit affordable housing community for an affordable housing developer in Otay Ranch.

💼 What You’ll Do

• Dive into estimating & preconstruction—takeoffs, bid analysis, VE tracking, and scope reviews.
• Support project execution: scheduling, submittals, change orders, RFI management.
• Coordinate with subs, design teams, and field leadership.
• Help manage budgets, procurement, pay apps, and contract compliance.
• Own key logs and project documentation (Procore experience is a plus).
• Be a problem-solver, relationship-builder, and critical player on a $75M job.

• 2–5 years of construction experience, including estimating or precon exposure.
• Ability to read drawings, understand trade scopes, and analyze cost impacts.
