We’ve partnered with a remarkable 50+ year leading true mid-sized general contractor based in Houston, TX with a robust pipeline of mixed commercial ground-up and renovation projects within the Healthcare, Public, Aviation, and Medical construction space.


About the Role


They’re seeking an Assistant Project Manager with 3+ years of experience to lead the charge on upcoming ground-up and/or interiors/renovation mixed commercial projects with a focus on the healthcare, aviation, medical, and public sectors. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a sharp eye for detail, and know how to drive a project from excavation to occupancy, this is your next big move.


Responsibilities


  • Set project timelines and schedules
  • Monitor project deliverables
  • Update relevant stakeholders or team members on the project progress
  • Work with a full project team including Estimators, Superintendents, and other team members to help support project team members with tasks you assign them
  • Deliver projects on time, on budget, and to the highest standards


Qualifications


  • 3+ years of experience successfully delivering ground-up mixed commercial projects in the healthcare/medical, public sector, construction space in Houston, TX
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering those commercial project types of $10M+
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Deep understanding of construction sequencing, building codes, and safety regulations
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain a productive site culture
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred NOT required)
  • Strong business acumen in project planning and management
  • Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills

  • A strong track record of 3+ years of project management experience successfully delivering mixed commercial healthcare, medical, and aviation projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Deep understanding of construction sequencing, building codes, and safety regulations
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain a productive site culture
  • Strong business acumen in project planning and management
  • Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
  • Primavera P6 experience preferred


Compensation Package

Base Salary- up to $110,000+
