The NMIMS School of Branding is a school that approaches all aspects of creativity, marketing, brand building and media communication. We are looking for subject matter experts to instruct in the evolving domain of Digital Media and Marketing Communication. The ideal candidate will display an understanding of the intersection of media strategy, technological understanding and technical execution.
The key responsibilities are curriculum delivery ensuring that students grasp the foundational concepts as well as bridge the gap between academic theory and industry application. The faculty should be able to provide hands-on training using industry-standard tools and platforms associated with media buying and marketing automation. The faculty should leverage their professional experience to provide real-world context, case studies and practical applications of media theories and media planning knowledge.
The ideal faculty should be able to deconstruct the complex technical jargon into digestible actionable insights for learners. The faculty should demonstrate conceptual understanding and practical expertise in one of more the following domains:
Performance Marketing: Mastery of ROI driven strategies and lead generation across paid channels
Programmatic Advertising: Understanding of the automated bidding ecosystem, including DSP, SSP and RTB mechanics
Affiliate Marketing: Knowledge of partnership ecosystems, tracking technologies and commission-based growth strategies
Martech (Marketing Technology): Proficiency in the stack of tools used to manage and optimize marketing efforts, including CRM integration, data analytics, and automation platforms.
Qualifying Criteria – Assistant Professor:
a. A Master ‘s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in concerned / relevant discipline from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
OR
b. A candidate has been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET.
AND
c. Minimum 2 SCI Publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals
d. Without prejudice to the above, the following conditions may be considered desirable:
i) Ph.D preferred with entry-level 2 years’ experience is desirable but not mandatory.
ii) The candidate has presented at least two papers based on his/her Ph.D. work in conferences/seminars sponsored/funded/supported by the UGC/ICSSR/CSIR or any similar agency.
Published work may include books, Research Periodical, Ph.D. guidance, Consultancy projects, and a patent filed.
Pay Scales: As per UGC guidelines; but will not be a constraint for the right candidate
