Talladega College is seeking an Assistant Professor to teach Computer Science courses in the Computer Science program. This is a tenure-track position reporting to the Department Chair and is slated to begin in fall 2026. Responsibilities include teaching Programming, Database, Networking or Cybersecurity courses as well as introductory courses in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems and Cybersecurity curriculum. Teaching schedules may include in person, online, hybrid instruction and other instructional modalities that enhance student learning. The ideal candidate will also have excellent teaching skills, good interpersonal skills, effective written and oral communication skills and the ability to function collegially as a member of the faculty as demonstrated by experience in higher education. Additional activities include curriculum development, academic mentoring/advisement, participation in Departmental and Division activities, support of college activities, and professional development.
