McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, a leading academic health center, is seeking applications for a full-time, non-tenure clinical track faculty for General Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine (Medical/Surgical Critical Care or Transplant Critical Care) within the Department of Anesthesiology.
Position Key Accountabilities:
We are seeking highly motivated and qualified individuals with a strong interest in clinical research and resident/fellow education. Applicants with an interest in translational research are welcome.
Duties include:
1) Providing critical care medical services for patients in affiliated hospitals.
2) Providing anesthesiology and perioperative medical services for patients in affiliated hospitals.
3) Contributing to the academic and scholarly productivity of the Department of Anesthesiology.
Qualifications:
MD/DO or equivalent degree
OACGME Accredited Residency Program in Anesthesiology (1 year general house staff and 3 years of anesthesiology residency)
One year of fellowship training in an ACGME-accredited Critical Care Medicine program.
Texas medical license or be eligible for licensure
Board Certified/Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine
