Lost Tree Club is seeking a Pastry Assistant with refined fundamentals and a genuine passion for the craft. This is a rare opportunity to develop under the guidance of an Executive Chef and Executive Pastry Chef within a highly disciplined, detail-driven culinary program.
The Role
This position supports the execution of an established pastry program known for its consistency, elegance, and attention to detail. Key responsibilities include:
- Producing and presenting high-quality pastries and baked goods to exacting standards
- Supporting daily bake shop operations, including prep, organization, and inventory
- Maintaining strict adherence to recipes, portioning, and presentation guidelines
- Upholding the highest standards of sanitation, safety, and kitchen discipline
- Assisting in menu development and refinement through a structured creative process
- Supporting and mentoring team members as needed
The Candidate
- 3–5+ years of pastry or bakery experience in a high-end hospitality or private club environment
- Strong technical foundation with a sharp eye for detail and presentation
- Professional, composed, and team-oriented approach
- Appreciation for tradition, consistency, and disciplined execution
- Ambition to grow within a structured, mentorship-driven environment
