Responsible to assist with the management of a competitive NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball program including coaching, recruiting, and the oversight and direction of all men’s basketball video and technology operations and player development.In conjunction with the Head Coach, plans and executes a successful program that would include duties such as: conducting regular team practice sessions; coaching the student athletes, evaluating athletes performance in practice and competition; monitoring the conditioning and training of student athletes, advises and counsels student athletes regarding their obligations to comply with all rules and regulations related to financial aid and eligibility, as well as player development and academics.
55%Assist in practice and game logistical operations, including, but not limited to, camera operation, A/V set-up, management of equipment, filming of games and practices, video editing/breakdowns, film exchange, special team video and projects. Create, file and organize a database of film, practice information, game analytics, recruiting information and any other relevant technology data.

Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
Years of Experience Relevant experience in coaching, video and technology operations and player development at the collegiate or professional level.
Certification and/or Licensure First Aid, CPR, AED Required (or willingness to obtain).
Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesProficiency with Synergy Sports Technology, Hudl, DVSports, FastModel Sports and/or comparable sports software systems

Solid knowledge of NCAA regulations and guidelines governing the recruitment and retention of student-athletes.

Skilled in exemplary customer service, including dealing effectively with the students, faculty, staff, and general public both in person and over the telephone.

Working Conditions / Physical requirementsFrequent walking, standing, and other physical activities. Extensive travel locally and nationally. Regular exposure to gym and athletic venues with accompanying hazards. Long, irregular work hours including evening, weekend and holiday hours. Will need to be available early mornings, evenings and weekends.
