The Assistant Director of Sports Medicine is responsible for assisting the Director of Sports Medicine with coordination and delivery of high-quality sports medicine services to all intercollegiate student-athletes at Emory University.
The Assistant Director of Sports Medicine must perform many of the outlined tasks with minimal or no supervision in the clinical setting. Problems encountered are of a moderate to higher level of complexity and a considerable amount of creativity, resourcefulness, and innovation are utilized in problem solving. This position works in collaboration with the Director of Sports Medicine and with Team Physicians to provide clinical oversight, coordination and delivery of sports medicine services and education to all intercollegiate student-athletes at Emory University.
Supervision Received: overall supervision received by the Director of Sports Medicine and the Emory University Team Physicians.
Supervision Exercised: daily supervision and management of all clinical operations of the sports medicine department.

NOTE: Position tasks are generally required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location. Remote work from home day options may be granted at department discretion. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
