Under the direction of the Concession Manager, successful candidates are responsible for the efficient functioning of the concession stands at the Dublin Community Outdoor Pools; North and South.
Scheduling/Availability
The scheduling process is flexible with a variety of shifts available
The nature of this position may require the successful candidate to work a variety of hours including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
Successful candidates must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day
Some availability is required during the week of May 18th to complete mandatory compliance and onboarding training.Training time is paid.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Management of the day to day operations of the concession stands located at our outdoor facilities
Operating a cash register and balancing at close
Training staff on how to properly use, cook with and clean equipment
Informing supervisor of any problems needing special attention
Ensuring sites meet Franklin County Health Code standards
Minimum Qualifications
Must be at least 17 years of age by May 23, 2026
Must be available to work, at minimum, 20 hours per week during the summer season
Ability to obtain Level 1 Food Handling certification within 30 days of hire
Must wear required health department and Recreation Services attire when working
Must maintain a high degree of personal cleanliness and will conform to good hygienic practices during all work periods
Ability to effectively and courteously communicate with the public
Supplemental Information: All positions within this job classification have been designated as Casual in nature and all employees serving in such positions are considered to be Casual Employees. Casual employees serve strictly at the pleasure of the City and their employment may be terminated at any time for any reason, with or without cause.
