Salary Range: $150K - $155K/year

Executive Leadership & Strategic Planning

  • Supports the CNO in executive-level resource management and strategic organizational development.
  • Develops essential business, leadership, and professional skills required for advancement to CNO.
  • Collaborates with physicians and stakeholders to align clinical goals with hospital growth initiatives.
  • Formulates policies and procedures consistent with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Clinical Quality & Service Excellence
  • Overseas continuous performance improvement to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care delivery.
  • Conducts regular rounds to enhance communication and foster an exceptional patient experience.
  • Manages service recovery and timely follow-up on patient complaints or occurrence reports.
  • Promotes a culture of evidence-based practice and ethical conduct throughout the nursing department.


People Management & Staff Development

  • Provides leadership that increases nurse engagement, ownership of goals, and staff retention.
  • Collaborate with educators to identify learning needs and prepare staff for independent practice.
  • Fosters autonomy and independent problem-solving among staff members in all patient care areas.
  • Serves as a mentor or preceptor for nursing students and junior leadership within the facility.


Operational Finance & Requirements

  • Assists in budget management and ensures appropriate staffing levels for quality care.
  • Holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in nursing with active RN licensure.
  • Requires 5+ years of supervisory experience and 5+ years of inpatient Behavioral Health leadership.
  • Must currently serve at a Unit Director level or above to be considered for this role.

Required:

  • Must have inpatient BH nurse leadership experience
  • Must be a Unit Director or above
