About the Company
The Nebraska Attorney General's Office is currently seeking applicants for the position of Assistant Attorney General to serve as the primary antitrust attorney in the Consumer Protection Bureau.
The Nebraska Department of Justice is one of the strongest public interest law offices in the country, and the Consumer Protection Bureau is at the heart of that work, enforcing state and federal laws against deceptive, fraudulent, and unfair business practices, and holding broad enforcement authority over antitrust and monopolistic activities, including price-fixing, bid rigging, and unlawful monopolization.
This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced antitrust attorney to do consequential enforcement work on behalf of Nebraska consumers and businesses. The Bureau offers attorneys the opportunity to run their own cases, develop their own legal theories, and bring meaningful matters to resolution, while benefiting from the support of a strong, collegial team. Attorneys are encouraged to develop depth in antitrust while building experience across the Bureau's broader consumer protection mission, in a professional environment where excellent legal work and a healthy work-life balance go hand in hand.
