About the job
The Operator 2 performs precision electronic assembly and soldering work, ensuring high-quality
production of small components in a manufacturing environment.
We're looking for someone who
● Has current or very recent soldering experience using both leaded and lead-free alloys
● Has experience with gold-tin soldering (preferred)
● Has hands-on experience working with microscopes for extended periods (up to 8 hours
per day)
● Has experience working with very small electronic components, ideally 0201 and 0402
components, in an electronics manufacturing environment
● Has experience with wired interconnections or similar interconnection types
● Demonstrates strong dexterity, accuracy, and attention to detail when using small hand
tools
● Has the proven ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a
team
What you will do
● Perform precision soldering using leaded and lead-free alloys
● Assemble and rework small electronic components, including 0201 and 0402 components
● Work under a microscope for detailed assembly and inspection tasks
● Utilize small hand tools to complete intricate wiring and interconnections
● Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy standards are met
● Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
● Follow detailed work instructions and maintain a clean, organized workspace
