Job Description

Join a stable, family-oriented manufacturing team where you will use hand and power tools to assemble high-quality point-of-purchase kiosks. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, has strong mechanical aptitude, and takes pride in producing precise, visually appealing products while maintaining excellent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Assemble point-of-purchase kiosks using a variety of hand and power tools in a production environment.
• Follow pictures, basic instructions, and simple blueprints to accurately assemble components and subassemblies.
• Perform wiring and basic electrical assembly tasks as needed to complete kiosk builds.
• Conduct visual quality checks on completed parts and assemblies to ensure they meet specifications and standards.
• Identify and report any defects, issues, or inconsistencies in materials or assemblies to the appropriate team members.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, following all safety procedures and guidelines.
• Handle and move materials and components, lifting up to a minimum of 40 lbs as part of daily tasks.
• Work efficiently to meet production goals and deadlines while maintaining high quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members and leadership to coordinate tasks and resolve assembly-related issues.
• Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality to support consistent production schedules.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 1+ years of recent assembly experience in a manufacturing, production, or similar hands-on environment.
• Ability to assemble products by following pictures, diagrams, or basic written instructions.
• Experience performing visual quality checks on parts or finished products.
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools and physical components.
• Proficiency using hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, and pliers.
• Proficiency using power tools such as drills, drivers, and other powered equipment.
• Ability to perform basic wiring and electrical assembly tasks.
• Physical capability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs on a regular basis.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, high-quality work.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience reading and working from simple blueprints or diagrams.
• Background in general labor or production work.
• Experience with higher-level quality checks beyond visual inspection is a plus.
• Comfort working in a team-oriented, family-style environment.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain an organized work area.

Work Environment

This role is based in a production and assembly facility focused on building point-of-purchase kiosks. You will work with hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical components at individual or shared workstations. The standard schedule is a day shift from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., providing a consistent routine and predictable hours. The environment emphasizes safety, organization, and teamwork, with an expectation of reliable attendance and active participation in maintaining a clean and efficient workspace. Dress code is typical for a hands-on manufacturing setting, requiring practical, comfortable clothing suitable for physical work and adherence to any required safety gear.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Bend, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
