Job Title: Assembly Technician

About the Role

Join a high‑performing manufacturing team where precision, craftsmanship, and quality truly matter. As an Assembly Technician, you’ll build stainless steel and copper plate units used in advanced industrial systems. You’ll work in a clean, climate‑controlled environment using hand tools, blueprints, and computer systems to assemble components with accuracy and care. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, problem‑solving, and being part of a team that takes pride in producing top‑quality products.

What You’ll Do

  • Inspect stainless steel and copper plates for defects, ensuring all ports and orifices meet blueprint specifications.
  • Stack plates in the correct sequence for L and XL assemblies.
  • Install sockets and additional components following engineering drawings and assembly instructions.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to confirm dimensions, orientation, and assembly steps.
  • Use computer systems to access blueprints, check inventory, and enter production data.
  • Measure components accurately using tape measures and other tools to verify tolerances.
  • Operate or interact with HMI (Human-Machine Interface) equipment during assembly.
  • Lift and move components up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
  • Maintain strict quality standards and follow established quality control procedures.
  • Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe while reporting any material or equipment issues.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals on 2nd shift or weekend shift.

What You Bring

  • Minimum 2 years of assembly or manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints with accuracy.
  • Basic computer skills for pulling blueprints, checking inventory, and entering data.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools.
  • Ability to use measuring tools such as tape measures.
  • Comfort working with HMI equipment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous mechanical assembly experience.
  • Experience assembling plate units or similar components.
  • Ability to work independently while following detailed instructions.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills when encountering part or blueprint discrepancies.
  • Reliable and punctual for 2nd shift or weekend shift schedules.

Work Environment & Schedule

You’ll work in a climate‑controlled manufacturing facility using stainless steel and copper plates, hand tools, tape measures, computers, and HMI equipment. The role requires standing, moving, and lifting throughout the shift.

Available Schedules:

  • 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.
  • Weekend Shift: Friday–Sunday, 3:00 p.m. – 3:00 a.m.

Safety gear and production‑appropriate clothing are required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, OK.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $21.00/hr.
