  • Pay Rate: $21.00 – $35.00 per hour (based on experience)
  • 1st Shift: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday | 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM (includes shift differential)

Position Overview

The Assembler (Test Technician) plays a critical role in ensuring electronic products meet strict quality and performance standards. You’ll perform detailed functional testing, troubleshoot electronic assemblies, and work with advanced test stations and diagnostic equipment in a structured, quality‑focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform functional testing of electronic assemblies to verify quality and performance
  • Operate and monitor In‑Circuit Test (ICT), Flying Probe (FTP), and Automated X‑ray Inspection (AXI) systems
  • Troubleshoot analog and digital electronics down to the component level
  • Debug printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) to ensure reliability
  • Set up, configure, and monitor test stations and fixtures
  • Use electronic test equipment including digital meters, power meters, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes
  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
  • Conduct inspections and accurately document test results
  • Follow established safety, test procedures, and quality standards
Required Skills
  • Hands‑on experience testing electronic assemblies or circuits
  • Component‑level troubleshooting of analog and digital electronics
  • Experience using electronic test and measurement equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documentation
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured procedures
  • Active security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with ICT, Flying Probe, or AXI systems
  • PCBA debugging in a production or test environment
  • Familiarity with RF concepts and testing
  • Test fixture setup and equipment configuration experience

This is a Permanent position based out of Newark, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.
