Assembler- Performs a wide range of mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly tasks.
- Performs required quality checks and testing procedures. Assembles various
- mechanical and electro-mechanical subassemblies from drawings and work
- instructions.
- Assembles equipment from work instructions. Implements complete functional
- tests of subassemblies and/or sensors and/or equipment according to test plan.
- Repairs subassemblies and equipment. As a basis for assembly of equipment or
- assemblies, reads and interprets the following: drawings and assembly/work
- instructions; testing instructions specifications; work orders; and reports.
Position Requirements
- Requires technical diploma, certificate or degree in related field of study or
- comparable qualifications based on combination of related education, training
- and experience.
- Related experience in a technical environment strongly preferred.
- Ability to frequently lift and carry up to thirty-five (35) pounds.
- Performs work while seated for long periods of time.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending and stooping.
Please note:This position is a permanent budgeted full-time position on our staff.
However, during your initial 6 months orientation period you will be employed through an employment agency until the successful completion of your orientation.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $17.84 - $24.88 Per Hour
