Suncoreis seeking an experienced Asphalt Paving Foreman to lead a paving crew on a variety of projects whilerepresentingour company, culture, and values. Things You’ll Do
- Lead and supervise an asphalt paving crew through clear communication, expectations, and daily planning.
- Review project plans, specifications, and scope to ensure proper execution.
- Develop daily work plans tomaintainefficient, high‑quality paving operations.
- Determineand order equipment and trucking needs in advance of each day’s paving activities.
- Conduct daily morning meetings to share the plan of the day and assign tasks to crew members.
- Coordinate regularly with asphalt plantsregardingdaily production requirements.
- Prepare andsubmitdaily project notes and documentation.
- Submit daily timecards for crew members and equipment usage.
- Schedule fuel deliveries and coordinate routine equipment maintenance.
- Performadditionalduties or specialprojects asassigned.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Mustpossessa valid driver’s license.
- Strong understanding of asphalt paving procedures and specifications.
- Priorasphaltpaving experience, including operation of various paving equipment.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
