Job Title: ASIC Design Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced ASIC Design Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work with advanced SoC/CPU/GPU architectures and high-speed interfaces to design and implement Verilog/System Verilog blocks for image processing SoCs.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement Verilog/System Verilog blocks for image processing SoCs.
  • Work on front-end RTL using hands-on System Verilog and ASIC design.
  • Integrate and perform simulations of your blocks with a focus on functional coverage using UVM.
  • Collaborate on adding new blocks to existing ASICs and porting FPGA designs to ASICs.
  • Ensure low power consumption differentiation from FPGA to ASIC.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with SoC/CPU/GPU architecture, AXI interconnects, high-speed interfaces, and high bandwidth techniques.
  • 10+ years of industry hands-on RTL design experience preferred, although candidates with 5+ years will be considered.
  • Strong proficiency in Verilog/System Verilog.
  • Skilled with design verification and functional coverage methodologies, including UVM.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience working in video processing chip design.
  • Experience in high-speed techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and integrate blocks efficiently.

Work Environment

This position is based onsite in Dallas, TX, requiring hands-on work with our products and equipment. The work schedule is a 9/80 structure, allowing for every other Friday off, providing a three-day weekend. The position demands a 40-hour work week.

This is a Contract position based out of Richardson, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $110.00/hr.
