Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Armed Security Officer located in San Diego, CA. The Armed Security Officer will be responsible for patrolling designated areas, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting property, permitting entry to authorized personnel, and responding to emergencies. The officer will also be tasked with maintaining order during events, preventing criminal activity, and collaborating with local law enforcement when necessary to ensure safety.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience in security services and threat assessment. Former LEO or Military A++
• Skills in patrolling, surveillance, and emergency response
• Ability to maintain order and manage crowd control
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical fitness and the ability to respond quickly in emergency situations. Must be able to lift 50+ pounds.
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow security protocols.
• Experience with law enforcement agencies is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in security-related fields are required. BSIS Guard Card and BSIS Exposed Firearms Permit are minimum credentials.
• Must have current drivers license and the ability to get to and from site posts consistently.
