The Armed Security Officerprovidesfirst response to emergencies,enforcesfederal law and assimilated state law,andconductsmobile patrols.

Responsibilities
Provide access control and traffic control, ensuring safe and secure entry, exit, and movement throughout designated areas.
Conduct armed security patrols, both on foot and in motorized vehicles, to maintain a visible security presence and deter unauthorized activity.
Perform personnel, vehicular, building, and facility checksto verify compliance with security standards and procedures.
Inspect packages and parcelsin accordance with established security guidelines.
Work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, based on operational requirements.
Perform other duties as assignedin support of overall security operations.
Qualifications
Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Two years of service in the United States Armed Services (including Reserve or National Guard), or
Any combination of two years of experience in physical security (as a security officer - armed or unarmed) and service with the United States Armed Services (including Reserves or National Guard), or
Associate's degree in a Security or Law Enforcement related field, orsuccessful completion of a police officer’s basic training academy.
Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license.
Ability to successfully meet all Physical Agility Test (PAT) standards as required by the customer
Completion and passing of the MMPI psychological assessment
