Area Manager – Staffing Operations
Reports to: Regional Manager
Location: Houston, TX
Job Description:
The Area Manager – Staffing Operations is the main responsible for ensuring the operations at the market run smoothly by implementing and enforcing the right processes and practices. The Operations Manager organizes and directs all efforts related to increasing customer and employee satisfaction while keeping the market compliant, efficient, and profitable.
Responsibilities Area Manager – Staffing Operations:
- Accomplish market objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
- Achieve operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change.
- Confirm financial status by monitoring revenue and expenses; coordinating the collection, consolidation, and evaluation of financial data; preparing special reports.
- Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
- Identify and address operational challenges internally at the local office, as well as at customers locations before it affects markets operations.
- Develop a local recruitment strategy together with the Director of Staffing and ensure execution by local team members.
- Meet all deadlines established by Corporate Office.
- Leads market growth by actively seeking new business and new opportunities with current customers.

Requirements:
- Staffing Operations and/or Hospitality Management experience
- Prior management experience
- Bilingual SPA – ENG (required)
- Microsoft Office user knowledge
- Strong Time Management Skills
- Well-developed, strong communication skills
- Availability to work weekend and holidays
- Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Hospitality Management, or similar paths is a plus
Travel: This position requires up to 75% travel within surrounding area and out of the area occasionally.
