JOB OVERVIEW:
Project Lead is the key point person on a team working under direction of the Project Manager or Project Executive to deliver a project. Project Lead will have strong design and technical abilities and professional experience. Performs in a self-directed manner in all aspects of the design process, including programming, preparation of design and Construction Documents. Work includes independent leadership in the creation of Schematic Design, Design Development and Contract Documents, Revit, Sketch-Up model building, renderings and Construction Administration activities, all within an established budget, schedule, and programmatic requirements. Responsible for all technical and design aspects of projects including investigation, evaluation, and development of design solutions. Project Lead is the person in charge of the day-to-day responsibilities of a project, responsible for design, coordination with consultants, internal and external team members, and organization of Construction Documentation. Works closely with QA/QC team to ensure complete project review and supports activities of the Project Manager. Able to create, review and approve concept design options, assign tasks to other team members, and maintain project schedule. Mentors and helps develop junior staff.
