Applications Engineer

What You Will Be Doing

• Develop technical concepts and machine layouts for custom automation systems
• Evaluate customer specifications and translate them into engineering solutions
• Create cost estimates and support sales quotes/RFQs
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and manufacturing teams to build proposals
• Support the sales process and customer interactions to help win new business

What We Need From You

• 2+ years of engineering experience in automation or automotive environments
• Experience with automated assembly equipment or machine system design/support
• Strong 3D CAD skills (e.g., Inventor, SolidWorks) and ability to interpret drawings
• Ability to analyze customer specifications and develop technical concepts/layouts
• Experience with or exposure to cost estimating, quoting, or RFQ support
• Solid mechanical engineering fundamentals (Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering required)
• Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate with customers and internal teams
