Applications Analyst III - QA Analyst - Epic MyChart - MSH SSVS - REMOTE - Digital and Technology Partners - Req# 2839246

Roles & Responsibilities:

We are looking for a strong Quality Assurance analyst with 3+ years of experience, preferably in healthcare or a related field. The primary area of focus will be the Mount Sinai patient and workforce digital application portfolio. You'll help ensure solid application performance and an excellent user experience for both vendor supplied and in-house developed solutions.

The ideal candidate will exhibit some or all of the following technical competencies:

  • Support of Web and Mobile-based QA test strategies, using software testing and live documentation tools, both manual and automation.
  • Experience with various testing types and methodologies, front-end UI testing, smoke testing, functional testing, regression testing, A/B testing, integration testing, user acceptance (UAT) testing, accessibility testing based on WCAG 2.0 guidelines.
  • Knowledge and experience with Epic and Epic MyChart
  • Knowledge and experience with Chat AI and SMS platforms.
  • The following experience is a plus:
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, GitHub, ChatBots, HL7, Azure
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, NIST, PCI, SOC, FERPA or other security standards.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.
  • Experience with API integrations

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Quality Assurance and Support for All Digital Applications including the MyChart patient portal.
  • Comprehensive testing and QA for all release cycles.
  • Cooperating with front-end developers, designers, and the rest of the team to deliver well-architected and high-quality solutions
  • Prioritize and delegate tasks as needed
  • Thoroughly review and test each new release
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of the systems and provide guidance to other staff in analyzing issues and the development of potential solutions
  • Demonstrates professional behavior when interacting with clients and coworkers
  • Demonstrate ability to understand not only tasks assigned but to anticipate ongoing work and take ownership of entire process.
  • Performs other related duties

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Master's degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Experience

  • Three years experience in Information Technology/Computer Science and/or clinical healthcare discipline, or demonstrated equivalent experience
  • Three years experience in working on medium to large sized systems projects in a technology-driven environment
  • Experience working independently and demonstrated accountability for groups of tasks or processes
  • Superior analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude
  • Ability to perform in a team environment
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to interpret and follow technical plans

Compensation

The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $82,000.00 - $123,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
