Application Manager – Guidewire PolicyCenter
Location: Lake Mary, FL (Onsite)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Compensation: $160,000 – $180,000 base salary + bonus
About the Role
LHH is partnering with a well-established insurance organization to identify an experienced Application Manager with deep Guidewire PolicyCenter expertise. This role blends hands-on technical leadership with end-to-end ownership of enterprise insurance applications. The individual in this role will be responsible for platform stability, ongoing enhancements, and driving adoption of Guidewire solutions across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Own daily support, maintenance, and optimization of Guidewire PolicyCenter and related InsuranceSuite applications.
- Actively design, develop, and enhance Guidewire components using Gosu, PCFs, workflows, and batch processes.
- Lead production support efforts including incident triage, root cause analysis, and permanent fixes.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to deliver stable solutions.
- Provide technical leadership through code reviews, mentoring, and best-practice enforcement.
- Participate in full SDLC activities including requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, and upgrades.
- Design and support integrations with internal and third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs and messaging technologies.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve system performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of hands-on experience working with Guidewire PolicyCenter in enterprise environments.
- Strong proficiency in Gosu development, PCF configuration, and Guidewire customization.
- Experience supporting and integrating BillingCenter and ClaimCenter platforms.
- Demonstrated experience leading or supporting Guidewire upgrades and enhancements.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex production issues and improve platform stability.
- Exposure to public cloud environments (AWS preferred) and CI/CD tooling.
- Ability to balance hands-on technical execution with leadership and cross-functional communication.
