The industry is driven by the need to greatly improve building energy efficiency and comfort, built on high-speed controllers installed throughout facilities that integrate and regulate environmental functions such as temperature, humidity, CO2 levels, lighting levels, and more.


Radius Systems is a full-service provider of Building Automation Systems and services in the Mid-Atlantic region. We are seeking to hire a highly motivated Applications Engineer in the Southeastern PA/Delaware area to join our rapidly growing business.


Our engineers perform a variety of work related to these systems – System design, controller programming, and graphical interfaces for large-scale enterprise building automation and control systems. Duties will include use of CAD software to develop controls design packages, development of system input/output listings, product selection, sequence of operations, development of all application programming for each system, and development of user interface.



  • High school diploma plus BS in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Automation Engineering
  • Must have minimum of 3 years engineering experience, including designing, programming, and building graphical user interfaces for Building Automation Systems
  • Tridium N4 certification and experience designing/programming Niagara-based systems a plus
  • Working knowledge of Visio, AutoCAD, Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Demonstrated knowledge and fluency with a minimum of one BAS or scientific programming language
  • Familiarity with MS operating systems, databases, and networks
  • A desire to learn, and ability to quickly absorb and retain information
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Fluent ability to work with laptops, tablets, smartphones
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent customer interface and human relations skills
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing schedules and priorities
