The successful candidate will work closely with trial teams on sophisticated litigation matters, helping shape case strategy through dispositive motions, appellate briefing, jury charge preparation, and post-trial advocacy. Key Responsibilities
• Research, draft, and argue complex dispositive motions in high-value litigation matters.
• Prepare motions for summary judgment, motions to dismiss, and other critical pretrial filings.
• Support trial attorneys with jury charge issues and litigation strategy development.
• Draft and argue post-trial motions, including motions for new trial and motions for judgment notwithstanding the verdict (JNOV).
• Prepare interlocutory appeals and appellate briefs before Texas appellate courts.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research involving complex procedural and substantive issues.
• Develop persuasive legal arguments and written advocacy strategies.
• Collaborate closely with litigation and trial teams throughout all stages of case development.
• Analyze emerging legal issues and provide strategic recommendations.
• Participate in oral arguments before appellate courts when necessary.

Qualifications
• Minimum 7+ years of litigation, appellate, or law and motions experience.
• Extensive experience drafting and arguing complex motions.
• Significant Texas appellate practice experience.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active Texas Bar membership in good standing.
• Deep understanding of Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and Texas Rules of Evidence.
• Exceptional legal research and analytical abilities.
• Superior persuasive writing skills.
• Strong oral advocacy capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple sophisticated legal matters simultaneously.
