The Role
We are looking for a Retail Sales Associate to join our Madison Avenue store, either part-time or full-time. This is a client-facing role within a quiet, considered retail environment—focused on building relationships over time and delivering a thoughtful, personalized experience. The position is sales-driven, with an emphasis on clienteling and long-term engagement.
What You’ll Do
- Offer a warm, attentive in-store experience—guiding clients in a natural, understated way
- Build and maintain a personal client base through consistent outreach and follow-up
- Contribute to store sales through strong product knowledge and considered recommendations
- Support the daily rhythm of the store, ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming space
- Assist with visual merchandising and product presentation
- Process transactions accurately, including special orders and client requests
- Monitor inventory and communicate stock needs to the team
- Develop a deep understanding of our materials, construction, and product philosophy
Who You Are
- Comfortable engaging clients in a relaxed, genuine manner
- Self-directed, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Experienced in premium or luxury retail (2+ years preferred)
- Naturally organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
- Aligned with a more understated approach to selling—focused on trust rather than urgency
- Interested in craftsmanship, natural materials, and considered design
- Familiar with POS systems and basic digital tools
Additional Details
- Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with light stock handling
- High school diploma required; college degree preferred
