Anesthesiologist

HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiac Anesthesiologist with fellowship training to join the growing cardiac program at HCA Florida Largo Hospital.

This is a high volume cardiac program supported by strong leadership with dedicated in house cardiac and transplant coverage overnight.

Position Highlights

• Anesthesia care team with 11 anesthesiologists including 8 cardiac and 25 CRNAs
• Coverage includes 12 ORs plus EP Lab Cath Lab and Endoscopy
• Approximately 9000 annual cases
• Diverse case mix including cardiac transplant ortho general surgery endoscopy neuro spine vascular and robotics
• No pediatrics no obstetrics and no trauma
• Approximately 600 cardiac cases annually including open and structural heart procedures
• Involvement in cardiac anesthesia training for residents through affiliated residency program

Schedule and Call

• Monday through Friday day schedule 7a to 5p
• Backup cardiac call from home shared equally among 4 physicians
• Separate cardiac and transplant team provides in house overnight coverage

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive compensation package including 100000 start bonus

• Beeper pay plus hourly rate of 330 per hour if called in
